FAQ's

Here we have collected the most frequent questions from you, the site. We tried to answer them as fully as possible.

What do you pay?

*Solo drivers are paid 35% of the gross dollar amount paid to the truck, NOT including any fuel surcharges paid. My solo drivers can earn anywhere between $500.00 to $1100.00 and up per week, depending on home time and how much they want to run. Solo drivers will run about 1500 to 2000 paid miles per week with a average length of haul being 300 miles.

*Team drivers are paid 40% of the gross dollar amount paid to the truck, NOT including any fuel surcharges paid. My team drivers can earn anywhere between $700 to $1600.00 and up EACH per week, depending on home time and how much they want to run. Teams will run about 2000 to 5000 paid miles per week with an average length of haul being 800 miles.

How often will I get paid?

I pay my drivers every Friday for the revenue paid to the truck by Panther II. Checks can be mailed to the house or directly to your bank. A settlement will always be mailed to your provided address regardless of where I mail your check.

What kind of trucks do you have?

Currently I have 4 units. Two Freightliners, one International, and a Ford E350 Cargo Van. I have some pictures of the trucks posted throughout the website. I am constantly looking to add trucks and will update the site accordingly.

How often will I get home?

I require that drivers stay a minimum of 12 days and then figure 1 day off for every week out. Home time will also depend on where you live. If you live in the primary running area for Panther II then you will get home more often than if you didn't. See, "What areas will I run?" next.

What areas will I run?

Although we haul freight to all 48 states and Canada, the primary area you can expect to run will be east of the Mississippi. Most of the time you will run in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, West Virginia, Virginia, the Carolina's, and Kentucky. Teams have been known to travel as far as the West Coast, but not on a regular basis.

Do you provide insurance?

A health plan is offered through Medical Mutual of Ohio, provided you live in Ohio. Drivers living outside of Ohio would be responsible for providing there own policy.

Do you provide vacation pay?

I pay for one week vacation upon your one year anniversary with Axline Trucking, Inc.

Do you have a rider policy?

Yes, Panther II does have a rider policy. Provided that the rider does not interfere with your work and your loads are delivered on-time. Riders must be at least 18 years of age and must be pre-approved through Panther II safety department. The cost for the additional rider insurance will be deducted from your settlement.
